When looking at Western NC wedding venues, you may discover that many of them, while beautiful, are in the middle of proverbial nowhere. One of the greatest things about Oak Hill is our convenient location, without sacrificing beauty. Easy to find, we're just 3 miles off of I-40 Exit 85 (US 221), near Marion, NC. We're just a little over half an hour east of Asheville, and about 75 miles from Greenville, SC.
Since we're close to civilization, we have several great hotel options close by for your out-of-town guests. Below are a few of our favorites:
- Hampton Inn Marion 3.8 miles away. Recently renovated.
- Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marion 4.5 miles away. Nice, newer spot.
- The Monte Vista Hotel, historic boutique hotel with restaurant & bar on-site. About halfway between us & Asheville (about 25 minutes from the farm) -- perfect for any guests that fly into the Asheville airport. Black Mountain also has an excellent restaurant selection. Our choice for our personal wedding in 2023.
- Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages Boutique lodge & cottages perfect for your guests who are making a weekend out of it. Convenient to Linville Falls, Wiseman's View, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. 40 minutes from the farm, but worth every second. Owned by our extended family since 1937.
- ...and of course, the Asheville hotels are just a short drive away.
